The location is based next to the well-known NDSM shipyard, which will give you a spectacular view over the river ‘IJ’ in the evening. This unique campsite is based very near the heart of the city. After a FREE 5 minute ferry-tour over the river ‘IJ’ it only takes a 2-5 minute walk to Amsterdam’s charming centre.

Camping Hostel Amsterdam / The campsite is ideally situated on the southern rim of the magnificent Amsterdam forest (“bos”, 900 hectare of nature). A beautiful area: in the middle of nature (with high trees, grass and water canals), yet very close to the city centre of Amsterdam. Recreatiepark Aalsmeer / At this harbor they have two hiker cabins and tipi tents next to the water who provide shelter to tourists. One accommodation is for four persons. You do have to bring your own sleeping bag, cutlery, plates, stuff to do the dishes, a pillowcase, pans and towels. They also have small parking area’s for MOTORHOMES (no caravans). A budget friendly place on a campsite where you can also place your tent on a field of gras with water and electricity.

Jachthaven- en camping Winkeloord / At this harbor you can enjoy the nature and quietness to relax. Rent a sloop, sup board, canoe ore go sailing next to the campsite. Let go of the busy centre of Amsterdam and come to the Vinkeveense plassen (lake) in the middle of beautiful green nature. Not a big campsite but you can place your tent here next to the harbor where it’s all about. Beautiful spot though right next to the lake.
