Bitterzoet / Bitterzoet does its best to offer a variety of music styles as varied as possible. These styles of music vary, for example, from rock, punk, ska to hip hop, funk and soul. The starting point of Bitterzoet is to offer a place where DJs, bands and musicians with different backgrounds and innovative concepts get the opportunity to experiment or get the chance to play for a larger audience. So there is a different programming every day, which means that one day you can really enjoy yourself in Bitterzoet, but it is not your kind of music at all other times. Therefore a tip: Always check the agenda.
Canvas / The place to take a breath of the early morning air or gaze at the late night city lights. The place for the first bite or the last cocktail and everything in between. Club Canvas is located on the rooftop of the Volkshotel. Until 11 pm this cool rooftop club is a restaurant and bar. After 11 pm the tables are put aside and the DJ takes over the booth. Club Canvas in Amsterdam is all but the typical club. The club nights range from hip hop to electronic music and bands. Make sure to check the agenda before you go! We recommend going for dinner to restaurant Canvas on the 7th floor before partying until the early hours. During club nights the smaller rooftop Petit Canvas stays open for some fresh air or a secret kiss.
Claire / Claire. Your best friend, affair, archrival and the bright part of the city. She likes to take the position that you need at a certain moment, call her a chameleon that even has the colors of pimple-purple with a golden edge in her file. If you do not want to shine, Claire becomes Obscure, maybe she is in a corner and she hides. She chooses which of the two must occur by sensing which you want to be.

Marktkantine / De Marktkantine is a creative pop-up club. It is located next to the Food Center at the Jan van Galenstraat. Translated in English ‘De Marktkantine’ means ‘Market canteen’ and is named after the former function of the building. It was build as the canteen for the people who worked on the food market. In De Marktkantine houses a club and restaurant under one roof. Good news: this pop-up stays until 2019! The agenda of De Marktkantine is very diverse. From concerts to techno parties and from theater to vintage markets. Make sure to check out the Rommelige Zondag is you like flea markets!
Warehouse Elementenstraat / This place is very special. In the early 90s this was a famous party club, but it was closed after some legendary raves. But since last year it is re-opened again at this location nearby Sloterdijk! The building has a raw, industrial feeling like ‘club Trouw’ used to be. Perfect for techno nights and party with your friends.
Club NYX / Nyx, the Greek goddess of the night, was the daughter of Chaos. She was the mother of several children like Oneiroi (dreams) and Philotes (friendship). Club Nyx is a home for everyone. Their favorite element? The element of surprise! In a four-story building that used to be a carriage house, they created a colorful world of wonders, one to fall in love with and get lost in.
