Restaurant Stork / Café-restaurant Stork is an unique fish and sea food restaurant at a special location in the north of Amsterdam. Here it is all about daily fresh caught and prepared products. The menu offers a wide range of products for the seafood and fish gourmet. From a classical fruits de mer and also whole served fishes of the season. Stork is situated in an old industrial loft at bussinespark De Overkant, the former Stork factory, at the northern banks of the river IJ. Tolhuistuin (toll house garden)/ The garden is open to the public. In 1938, Shell took possession of the premises, until Amsterdam bought it back in 2008. The garden is well visited in summer by lovers of music, film and art. THT restaurant is situated in the old canteen of the Shell factory. From 1941-2011 over 1200 employees of Shell used to eat their breakfast and lunch here, every single day. Exactly 70 years later the artistic building that was designed by the architect ‘Staal’ got a cultural destination. Due to the collaboration between ‘Paradiso Noord’, ‘Stichting Tolhuistuin’, ‘Framer Framed’, ‘Solid Ground Movement’ and ‘Tip Noord’ it’s directory has been determined. The menu of THT exists of small dishes from all over the world, and can be shared. You can not only explore the variety of dishes, but also visit a concert or other performances. Mos Amsterdam / This restaurant got a Michelin star in 2016. Their food is amazing and they have a big terrace with a beautiful view over the IJ. They created a atmosphere designed with elements from the style in Paris and Marrakech to create a worldly appearance. Good service, fine dining and a feel good feeling. Good to make a reservation in advance. Not cheap, but good!

Loetje aan ’t IJ / This restaurant is in Amsterdam Noord next to a Amsterdam marina, situated in a dynamic, cultural hotspot in the North: the NDSM-dockyard. Around the building there is a wooden terrace where you can enjoy the beautiful view over the IJ, or mooring your boat here to enjoy a meal and sail on afterwords. Café Loetje began about 40 years ago as a neighbourhood pub and billiards bar on the corner of the Johannes Vermeerstraat in Amsterdam South, near the Museumplein. Here lie the roots of the Loetje concept; this is where their sirloin steak was successfully put on the menu in the 70s and where the billiards tables made room for a ‘new’ pub, which – as it turned out – became the basis for all the other Loetje establishments in the Netherlands. Pont 13 / Pont 13 is build in 1927 as a steam ferry. In the year 1956 it has been transformed into an electric ferry. After years of hard work bringing cars, bikes and people over the IJ in Amsterdam, public transport company GVB sold the Pont. Years later it was saved from demolition and Pont 13 found a new life as a cool and authentic restaurant and bar. Pont 13 has an edgy en cosy vibe.
