The Nine streets

Do you like shopping? Go to the Nine Streets! I am sure you will score a great outfit or souvenir. You find them within walking distance of the Dam Square at the western part of the Canal District. Like the name suggests, the district is famous for it’s nine small streets connected by the canals. Here you will find great fashion boutiques and delicious lunch cafes. The Nine Streets are a must visit for everyone living in or visiting Amsterdam.

The streets that are part of the Nine Streets are: Reestraat, Hartenstraat, Gasthuismolensteeg, Berenstraat, Wolvenstraat, Oude Spiegelstraat, Runstraat, Huidenstraat and Wijde Heisteeg.

This neighbourhood is a very popular area to buy (vintage) clothes, books and jewellery. I personally love to shop vintage clothes over here at Laura Dols, Episode or Zipper. If you are hungry after shopping you can eat something at many cute little restaurants like Ree7, H24, Pluk .

Enjoy wandering around and shopping at the Nine Streets!
